Our story
Anyone can be a plant parent
Peace Nursery grows in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. Not a warehouse with a plant section — a nursery, where the stock is potted, hardened off and watered by the same people who pack it.
That is the whole reason this shop is small. We list about ten things properly rather than ten thousand badly, because we can only vouch for what we have actually grown.

Three things to get right. Everything else is detail.
Water
More plants die of kindness than neglect. Wait until the top inch of soil is dry, then water until it runs out of the bottom.
Light
Bright but indirect suits nearly everything indoors. A north window in Hazaribagh still beats the middle of a room.
Air
Still, dry air is what browns the leaf tips. Keep pots off the path of a cooler or a fan, and group them so they hold their own humidity.
Size matters (for pots)
The right pot is the cheapest thing you can do for a plant’s health. Pick a size to see what it suits.
Medium · 6"–10"
The size most indoor plants ship in and stay in for a year or two. Repot one step up, never three: a plant swimming in soil sits in water it cannot drink.
